Forever Floral

Despite the bitter cold we're having here in CT, Annalise and I headed outdoors to take some photos! This outfit is up there on my list of favorites! I've always been a giant fan of pattern mixing. The big stripes went perfectly with the miniscule pattern of the floral on my leggings. A definite way to nail the pattern mixing look is to make sure one is big and bold, while the other is tiny.
As always, I had to edge this pretty combo up with my spiked necklace!

I took this sheer top that I usually wear buttoned up and styled it open for more of a vest look. I'm really into the way it added some dimension and some different texture to the outfit.
I have to be honest, when I first got these leggings I wasn't sure of them. They looked different online which is something I'm normally mindful of, but they totally just took me by surprise. Anyways, as soon as I put them on I fell in love. The break in the pattern that the lace gives is refreshing, and they're also super soft! They ended up being a huge win and I'm stoked.
