velvet daze

So, I'm obsessed with this Mink Pink velvet babydoll dress. It's so flattering and super easy to wear. Since it's really soft and feminine, especially given the texture, I obviously had to edge it up. I toyed with the idea of pairing it with a printed oversized cardigan, but opted for my favorite moto jacket instead. It gave it the perfect zing. My statement shield necklace just continued the story. I totally love hard metal necklaces and I don't think I'll ever stop.

Okay, I bring to you guys the most amazing tights, faux thigh high's. Since it's winter, they're the perfect alternate to bare legs with thigh high socks. Also, they stay up perfectly and you don't have to worry about them slipping or falling down! Awesome, right?!

I got these booties as a gift from Michael for Christmas and I fell in love as soon as I opened the box. The shiny patent leather is so chic and the chunkiness of both the boot itself and the heel really just made me feel so badass. The strap and belt across the front has to be my favorite part though! Oh, and also that they're super comfy.

Overall, I loved this outfit and will definitely try pairing this dress with different things in the near future.

A huge thanks to John Kritzman for photoing this outfit post! This is the first but for sure not the last time that we'll work with him. Check out his site here: http://johnkritzmanphoto.com
