FIRST OF FALL

posted on: Wednesday, September 10, 2014

The other day in Connecticut finally felt like the first day of Fall. Lately, my anticipation for tall boots and spiced lattes have been kept at bay with a cloud of humidity. The hot and sticky weather finally left and brought a coolness with it. The leaves are starting to fall and are slowly changing to their autumn coat.

With the weather feeling crisp, I couldn't help but to break out my knee high equestrian styled boots. I love these because they remind me of when I used to ride horses. Anyone who has been an avid rider or who still rides can probably tell you that they wear their boots outside the barn. At least that's what I've always done! Even though these specific boots are just strictly fashion boots, they still give me a sense of nostalgia about riding.

I hope you all are doing well! Have a wonderful day!
