Today I am indulging in some of my favorites because this snowy cold weather not only messes with my skin, but also makes me want to use all the scents I believe to be amazing.
Around my house are multiple bottles of Crabtree & Evelyn's "Gardeners Hand Therapy" simply because it works extremely well and smells great. It is infused with a spice scent accompanied by sage and rosemary. The little bottle pictured above is perfect to keep by my bedside. It's useful when I'm going to bed or waking up. I would suggest finding a hand cream you really like and buy at least two bottles or sizes of it, and keep them in separate places in your house. It definitely ensures that your hands will always be soft and smell great through the cold months!
Also pictured is the "Frasier Fir Decorative Sachet" by Thymes. This company makes great hand soap and hand cream alongside this sachet. I'm in love with frasier fir and balsam fir scented anything, especially in the winter season. Having a sachet is a nice alternative to a candle because it's flameless, meaning you can leave this in a place like your bedroom and not worry about putting the flame out! In addition, the scent will last for a while and leave any room smelling fragrant. Another good idea is to put this sachet in a drawer to keep whatever smelling amazing. If you keep it in a sock or shirt drawer, it's like an automatic perfume. Definitely a versatile buy!
Lastly pictured is the Whisper Hill bath and body goat's milk soap in the "Lavender & Lilac" scent. These soaps are produced in Quechee, VT, and offer an all-natural lovely scent. This specific scent is a bit more fruity than what I'd typically gravitate towards, but the natural ingredients tone down any overpowering smells. Also, unlike most bar soap, Whisper Hill products will not dry out your skin. So that's another plus during the winter!
Overall, all of these products are worth checking out, especially if any of these scents are your favorite. Sometimes it's the little things that can help us enjoy the winter even more. Happy Thursday!
