MONDAY BLUES

Happy Monday, Bloomers! I can feel spring getting closer and closer everyday, so I'm swapping out more layering on the top for bare legs. This oversized mens button up is one of my favorites because the wash of it is perfect, and it's studded! I'm also really into the 2 tones of my boots and the fact that they're taller than all of my others.

Even though Mondays are the usual dreaded day, I hope everyone can find at least one positive thing about today and let it fuel your happiness!

RAILCAR FINE GOODS // A DENIM STORY

Today I wanted to feature a company out of Arcadia, CA that delivers a line of quality goods and craftsmanship. Created by Steven Dang, Railcar Fine Goods has a variety of shirts, jeans, and even pomade! Being a girl, it's been extremely difficult finding a pair of heavier selvedge denim that is a skinny fit and high rise. I couldn't be happier with these jeans because they meet all of those requirements, not to mention I'm always happy to buy clothes made in the USA. This week we bring to you our sunflower power beauty friend, Angela! 

We wanted to feature Angela because her style compliments her personality. Being a more laid-back shy girly, her vibrant sense of fashion radiates who she truly is. We are really into her sunflower tunic dress and lace knee high socks. Even though it's still frigid here in CT, Ang had us feeling some excitement for spring. Her mixed metal jewelry adds the perfect accent, especially that turquoise (so pretty!). We love following Ang for dog pics and all things quirky!

What we love about Kayla and Joe is their ability to not only be a cute couple, but to also be true to their own sense of style. Joe kept his outfit casual, but still interesting with the little details like his Docs, hat and denim coat. Kayla was able to make this frigid day look not so bad with her cute knit head band, knee highs, and fisherman cardigan. We love how they look paired next to each other because both outfits are able to compliment one another.

DENIM ON DENIM

Hey everyone! We apologize for the lack of posts, but we are back and at it! When Danny and I were up in Kent last, I had to take some pictures of him. Although this winter has been extremely cold, there's some days that give a bit of relief. Danny was able to wear a chamois and long sleeve cotton tee underneath his denim jacket and still be comfortable. I love the denim-on-denim look, especially when it mixes darks and lights. I'm lucky to have such a great guy to take pictures of:) 

Also, it's so pretty in CT this time of year I couldn't help but add one picture of some dried flowers!
